August 3rd: Swami Sound

Bronx-born, NY-based DJ, producer, and artist Swami Sound has been capturing ears and moving bodies with his magnetic dancefloor tunes that synthesize UK Garage with a sleek New York City sheen. Following a steady run of singles and fresh bootleg remixes, Swami Sound dropped his breakout debut album Back in the Day in 2023 and his ascent has continued ever since, performing alongside heavy hitters like Machinedrum and Doss, scoring commercials for Nike and Adidas, and unleashing a consistent dose of his "two step verified" edits. Later this year he'll be releasing State of Emergency, a collaborative album created with fellow rising dancefloor producer, gum.mp3.

August 10th: Neggy Gemmy

Formerly known as Negative Gemini, Neggy Gemmy is the solo alias of Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, producer, and 100% Electronica co-founder Lindsey Elise French. This past June she released her fourth full-length album, She Comes From Nowhere. The album brilliantly blurs the lines between dream-pop, trip-hop, shoegaze, psych-pop, and 90s club flavors to create a hazy, groovy, nostalgia-tinted dance-pop sound.

SunYears is a solo project of Swedish musician Peter Morén, co-founding member of revered indie pop group Peter Bjorn & John. On August 21st he'll be releasing his second SunYears album The Song Forlorn, a lovely collection of warm, harmony-rich indie-folk that features guest appearances from Lisa Hannigan, Tunng's Sam Genders, Madison Cunningham, Nicole Atkins, and de clair.

August 24th: Guedra Guedra

Guedra Guedra is the alias of Casablanca, Morocco-based electronic producer Abdellah M. Hassak. His music is a vibrant blend of visionary club-minded electronic rhythms with musical traditions drawn from across the continent of Africa. He's gearing up to release his second full-length album MUTANT on August 29th via Domino sub-label Smugglers Way. A level-up from his excellent 2021 debut album Vexillology, MUTANT explores themes of identity, Pan-Africanism, Afrofuturism, and decolonization, bridging the musical heritage of the continent with elements of techno, bass music and dub.
